September/October Whirl Wind

September and October where just such a whril wind.  Went back to work in September, participated in various swaps and attended Nola's gathering of stampers.  That was a nice Sunday afternoon, everyone had a good time.  Both my September and October clubs were kind of on a whim.

Arlyne did October and we made bat cards.  I do have the recipie if anyone is interested.  Here are some pictures:

We did not take any pictures of November....why, I don't know.  Nellie was in charge of the project and we embossed and colored.  Which was nice to do a Thanksgiving card because I usually don't have any to give out.  But here are some photo's of cards that Arlyne did that I completely love.  I love the detail on the inside.  That is what we are trying to do at every club is Detail, Detail, Detail.  Pay attention to the little things on your projects.  Here are the Photo's

And here is one more card I love.  I just love the new In Color Concord Crush.  Look at this creation from Arlyne:
I just love the embossing, just love it!

What the girls are doing

You girls are not going to believe what everyone is doing. I love all the projects and the new ideas. Nadine presented us with a lemonade card in March and Donna presented us with the reflection card in April. You are not going to beleive how great these came out and how easy they are. I'm going to try to attach it here.
These cards were both easy to do and were great fun. Sometimes you think something is so difficult and it is really easy. Nadine and Donna put a lot of time into their projects.
Arlyne is going to give us a suprise this month. I have no idea what she has planned, but I know it will be good. We will save a project for Nadine as she will be on vacation and will not be with us. Nola is hostess of the month, but Arlyne will be doing the project due to the short timing on my idea to have everyone do a project. Nola...start thinking now, you will be busy in May with your shoebox and prep for your card :) Please see Nola's blog at:
All the information for the Shoebox Swap is there. We had a great time at the last shoebox swap.
There is some new colors happening at Stampin' Up! Go over to my web page and take a look. I do have samples for the girls in club. I have samples of the 5 "new" colors that I will be giving all of you at club on May 5th . On the web site you will also see the 10 returning colors and the 25 carryover colors.
I'm working on the plans for our club carryover this summer. I'm also working on "open night". More to come on those ideas. Now that we will carry club over the summer, July's club will start with Arlyne and we will just go down the list: Arlyne, Nadine, Donna, Nola, Sandy, Nellie.
I've been working on some swaps that I'm currently involved in. I'll post some pics later on today or tomorrow as I'm watching the Boston Marathon. Let me know what you think of the samples :)
